1/4 cup Chili Sauce
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Garlic - Powder
1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper - Ground
3/4 cup Water - Room Temperature
Fried Green Tomatoes
8 slices Green Tomato - Sliced 1/2 Inch Thick
1/2 cup Cornmeal - Yellow
1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper - Ground
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

Sloppy Joes

Mix all the Sloppy Joe ingredients in a bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of oil to a large saucepan. Place the pan on a medium heat.

Add the Sloppy Joe ingredients to the saucepan, mix and bring the ingredients to a simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove from heat, cover and set aside.

Fried Green Tomatoes

Toss the green tomato slices in the cornmeal. Tap to remove any excess.

In a medium size bowl whisk together flour, salt and pepper.

Lightly toss the green tomato slices into the flour mix. Allow the slices to sit in the flour mix while you heat a skillet.

Place a medium/large sized skillet on a medium heat.

Add enough vegetable oil to create a depth of ¼ inch.

Remove the tomato slices from the flour and tap to remove the excess.

Gently lay the green tomato slices in the oil. Fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
