We all have our favorite pizza’s, and being vegan, we need a vegan pizza recipe or two, or three… Once we get to grips with the Neapolitan Pizza Dough, we have to decide on the sauce, from the sauce to the toppings. The world is your pizza table. I’m listing a few sauces that can get you started: Tomato sauce, pistachio sauce, pesto sauce and barbecue sauce.

Think about this. You cant go through life pretending that frozen pizzas make you happy. No, no, no, we all need a vegan pizza recipe. There isn’t a more fun way of adding some variety to your vegan repertoire of dishes. Pizza’s are what you want them to be. Pizza’s are the Lego’s of food. I’m not sure if there’s a right or wrong group of ingredients. I may not like your grouping, but as long as you love them, that’s all that matters. If you can figure out the base, to which I share a Neapolitan style and a Chicago deep dish on the Vegan Chop House, the rest is your own personality.

Being vegan doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your taste buds. At the Vegan Chop House you can find a number of non-vegan favorites that have been painstakingly adapted to a vegan preference. Think being vegan is all about eating just fruits and vegetables without adding taste or texture. Think again. At the Vegan Chop House, it’s about enjoying crazy good food. Our vegan pizza recipe is just one more example of a great vegan dish that brings pleasure to non-vegans and vegans alike. Don’t sacrifice your taste buds, try our vegan pizza recipe.

If it’s Italian flare or just party favorites, you can find them all at the Vegan Chop House. Here are a few of the Vegan Chop House favorites; Neapolitan Style Pizza Dough, Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza, Corn Dogs, Portabella Mushroom Burger, and the hit of all parties – Vegan Chicken Wings.

When you start making pizzas don’t worry about the shape. If it tastes good, it is good. Once you become comfortable making pizza’s– which isn’t difficult with a little bit of practice and the right know-how, you will soon find yourself perfecting your own personal version of your favorite pizza. Bon appetit, vegan style, the Vegan Chop House way. The home of crazy good food.

Steps

1
Done

Tomato Sauce

Quickly blend for a couple of seconds to bring the ingredients together. This is a great basic sauce to add your favorite toppings to. Take a couple of serving spoonful’s and spread over the pizza. Be sure to leave a half inch of dough around the edge untouched by sauce. Add your favorite compliments.

Pistachio Sauce

I’ve found that in place of cheese this brings a full and salty flavor to the pizza. Take a couple of serving spoonful’s and spread over the pizza. Be sure to leave a half inch of dough around the edge untouched by sauce. Add your favorite compliments.

Pesto Sauce

My personal favorite - I think!! Add the basil, pine nuts, oil, and garlic to a blender. Pulse the blender until the ingredients are barely emulsified. It’s great that some of the pine nuts remain somewhat intact. Add some cherry tomatoes, cut in half and enough fresh basil to make a statement. Don't add the basil during cooking. Or add your own favorite compliments.

Barbecue Sauce

I’m not going to make a barbecue sauce when I have so many to choose from that I already love. Take a couple of serving spoonful’s and spread over the pizza. Be sure to leave a half inch of dough around the edge untouched by sauce. Add your favorite compliments.
